Welcome to JobUpdate.pk. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the JobUpdate.pk website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JobUpdate.pk, operated by Mr. Abid Bloger (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above requirements.
Account Types
JobUpdate.pk offers different types of accounts:
- Job Seeker Account: For individuals looking for employment opportunities.
- Employer Account: For companies, organizations, or individuals looking to post job opportunities.
User Conduct
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and by these Terms. You agree not to use our Services:
- In any way that violates any applicable federal, provincial, local, or international law or regulation.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate JobUpdate.pk, a JobUpdate.pk employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
- To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Services, or which may harm JobUpdate.pk or users of the Services.
- To upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading.
- To engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of the Services.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on our Services:
- False Information: Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information in your profile, job postings, or applications.
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or any part of our Services.
- Data Mining: Using data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction methods.
- Harmful Code: Introducing viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other harmful material.
- Interference: Interfering with the proper working of our Services.
- Circumvention: Circumventing any security measures we employ.
- Harassment: Engaging in any form of harassment or bullying of other users.
Content
User-Generated Content
Our Services may allow you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”). You are responsible for the Content that you post on or through our Services, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting Content on or through our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- The Content is yours (you own it) or you have the right to use it and grant us the rights and license as provided in these Terms.
- The posting of your Content on or through our Services does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any person.
Content License
When you post Content on or through our Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such Content in connection with providing our Services.
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any Content from our Services at any time, for any reason, without notice. We have no obligation to monitor Content, but we may, in our sole discretion, remove Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable.
Job Listings and Applications
For Employers
- Accurate Information: Employers must provide accurate and complete information about their company and job opportunities.
- Legal Compliance: Job listings must comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations in Pakistan.
- Non-Discrimination: Job listings must not discriminate against applicants based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or any other status protected by law.
- Fees: Some employer services may require payment of fees. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
For Job Seekers
- Accurate Information: Job seekers must provide accurate and complete information in their profiles and applications.
- Application Responsibility: JobUpdate.pk facilitates connections between employers and job seekers but is not responsible for hiring decisions or employment outcomes.
- No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that you will receive job offers through our Services.
Intellectual Property Rights
JobUpdate.pk Content
The Services and their original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of JobUpdate.pk and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Pakistan and foreign countries.
Trademarks
The JobUpdate.pk name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of JobUpdate.pk or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of JobUpdate.pk.
Third-Party Links and Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by JobUpdate.pk. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
You acknowledge and agree that JobUpdate.pk shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
Disclaimers
“As Is” and “As Available”
The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. JobUpdate.pk expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
No Guarantees
JobUpdate.pk makes no warranty that:
- The Services will meet your requirements.
- The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, and error-free.
- The results that may be obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate or reliable.
- The quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Services will meet your expectations.
Employment Disclaimer
JobUpdate.pk is a platform that connects job seekers with employers. We do not guarantee employment or verify the accuracy of job listings or applicant information. Users are responsible for verifying information and conducting appropriate due diligence.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall JobUpdate.pk, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services.
- Any content obtained from the Services.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JobUpdate.pk and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees), resulting from or arising out of:
- Your use and access of the Services.
- Your violation of any term of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party right, including, without limitation,n any copyright, property, or privacy right.
- Any claim that your Content caused damage to a third party.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Services.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed per the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through arbitration by the laws of Pakistan. The arbitration shall take place in Islamabad, Pakistan, in the English language.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and JobUpdate.pk regarding our Services, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Services.
